Liverpool seem to have secured their sixth signing of the summer as the Reds have agreed a deal with Southampton right-back Nathaniel Clyne, as per a Talksport report. It was only yesterday, Liverpool had secured the signing of Brazilian player Firmino.
Clyne is reportedly expected to travel to Merseyside and discuss personal terms.
Liverpool were in the look-out in the transfer market for a top right back and the Reds have attained one of the best in England, who has had an impressive season with Southampton.
With Clyne not signing a new contract with Southampton, Liverpool plunged into the opportunity of signing the English international.
The Reds were said to have made an offer of 10 million, which was rejected by Southampton, but an improved offer from Liverpool seems to have done the trick.
Apart from Clyne, Danny Ings, Adam Bogdan, Joe Gomez, Roberto Firmino and James Milner are the other players who have signed for Reds so far.
