Here is a list of top 50 keywords that people searched in BitTorrent.

Concerns about the piracy aside, many people still dig the popular torrent sites hoping to get their hands on some of the classic movies, songs or TV series on these file-sharing sites. In fact, a report on Torrent Freak divulged that on any given day, these torrents sites get "millions of visitors."

The report has also revealed a list of 50 keywords and phrases that people searched in sites like BitTorrent in 2015. The report gives us an insight into what people look for in these sites, especially when compared with Google Trends top searches that had Lamar Odom, "Jurassic World", "American Sniper" and more in its top searches.

However, one of the key words that managed to stay on top for the consecutive year is YIFY. This is even after it was forced to shut down in October 2015 following legal hassles. It is predicted that in 2016, it might not end up on top like last year.

YIFY is followed by NeZu, a movie release group and it is followed by "2015".

It is interesting to note that there are several search words arising from India â€" Hindi (fourth place), Tamil (fourteenth place), Telugu (seventeenth place), Hindi 2015 (nineteenth place), Malayalam (twenty first place), Telugu 2015 (thirty seventh place) and dual audio Hindi (forty fifth place).

One of the hugely pirated TV shows in 2015 was "Game of Thrones" and it landed in the seventh place. The list also includes other TV shows like "The Walking Dead," "The Big Bang Theory," "The Flash," "Arrow" and many more.
