Android smartphone users are eagerly waiting for Google's latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow update. As usual, the process of updating over a billion smartphones is quite long and involves smartphone manufacturers' and network carriers' participation.
Google unveiled its Android M software in May's I/O 2015 event and revealed the official Marshmallow name in mid-August. Ever since the notable features and upgrades in the Marshmallow update were revealed to the public, smartphone users kept waiting for the software update on their devices. While the anticipation continues to grow, several companies have confirmed the list of devices that will get the update soon enough.
