The teaser of "En Mannavaa" song from Rajinikanth's upcoming film "Lingaa" is released. The song, rendered by Srinivas and Aditi Paul, features the superstar and Sonakshi Sinha.
On Monday, the song teaser of "Mona Gasolina", featuring Rajinikanth and Anushka Shetty, was released and received a good response from the fans. It remains to be seen if "En Mannavaa" song also manages to impress the audience with its visuals.
"Lingaa" audio was recently released in a grand event held in Chennai. There are five tracks in the album crooned by notable singers like SP Balasubramaniam, Mano, Srinivas and AR Rahman among others.
The trailer of the film was also released during the audio launch event and fetched an overwhelming response from the fans. The video has received more than 1 million views within two days after it was uploaded on YouTube.
Looking at the trailer, one can say that the film will be a complete mass entertainer with all the commercial elements that can be associated with a Rajini starrer. The video has raised expectations on "Lingaa," which is set to release worldwide on the superstar's birthday, 12 December.
"Lingaa" is in the last stages of post-production and the censor formalities of the film are expected to happen soon. The film's music is composed by AR Rahman and the action entertainer is produced by Rockline Venkatesh. Eros International has obtained the film's theatrical rights for a whopping price, while the satellite rights have been bagged by Jaya TV, which has already acquired the rights for biggies like Vikram's "I" and Vijay's "Kaththi."
Directed by KS Ravikumar, Rajinikanth will appear in dual roles in the upcoming film. Anushka Shetty, Sonakshi Sinha, Santhanam, Karunakaran, Jagapathi Babu and Dev Gill are also part of the film's cast. While the cinematography is handled by Rathnavelu, editing is done by Samjith Mhd.
"Lingaa" is expected to have a huge release worldwide and all three versions - Tamil, Telugu and Hindi - are likely to be released on the same day. The Rajini starrer is expected to take big openings considering the star value of the actor.
