Instant messaging app Line has announced a strategic partnership with the online gaming company Games2Win. Through the partnership, the firms jointly launched an online T20 cricket tournament for the Android, iOS and Windows Mobile users.
"Cricket is not a game but religion in India, by publishing our first game on cricket genre we reinforce our commitment to bring local content to our users," said Line spokesperson.
Dubbed as Power Cricket T20 League 2015, the online multiplayer-based T20 cricket tournament will let the users play against the best cricket teams across the world in three different modes – tournament, Super Scorer and scenario.

Along with the launch of the game, Line has allowed advertisement on its platform for the global first as India is an advertisement monetisation market and does not follows in-app purchases.
