Controversial and troubled Hollywood actress Linday Lohan is reportedly planning to sue Rockstar Games, the developers of popular video game Grand Theft Auto (GTA) 5.
Lohan wants to sue Rockstar Games for using her image without her permission in GTA 5, entertainment website TMZ reported. It was said that her lawyers are drafting a lawsuit and she is expected to demand some "serious money."
Her lawyers have not filed any official lawsuits, and there is no clarity on what segment of the GTA 5 has a likeness to her.
TMZ pointd out three such supposed evidences in GTA 5 which could be the bone of contention.
- The GTA 5 featuring a woman in bikini and holding a cellphone is likened to Lohan. However, there have been talks that the woman looks similar to Kate Upton or Shelby Welinder.
- There is a mission in the game where a woman who looks like Lohan asks the player to rescue her from paparazzi.
- Another part in the game has a mission where a Lohan look-alike is at the hotel which is similar to the Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood, where she often visited and even stayed. The player's mission is to photograph her on camera having sex.
Rockstar Games is yet to make a statement on the issue. Previously, Rapper Daz Dillinger had accused Rockstar Games in October of using his songs in the game without permission. He demanded that he must either be paid by the company or the unsold copies of GTA 5 have to be destroyed, GameSpot reported.
