"Limitless" Season 1 is back after a week's break. The network aired Episode 16, "Sands, Agent of Morra," on Feb. 23 and will air Episode 17, "Close Encounters," this week on March 8.

In Episode 16, we saw how Brian helped Sands and rescued his son. In the process, he learnt a lot about Senator Edward Morrra's henchman. In fact, he also found out that it was Sands who killed Rebecca's father on the orders of Morra.
This week's Episode 17 will take off from where "Sands, Agent of Morra" left us and it has been speculated that Brian and Rebecca's friendship will be hit due to some trust issues. The promo of "Close Encounters" hints that it will be quiet an eventful one. The clip shows Brian, after Sands' revelations about Rebecca's dad in the previous episode, is contemplating whether or not to tell her as he talks to his alter-ego.
The synopsis of the upcoming episode teases that Brian and Rebecca will be trying to deal with a city-wide power outrage and while doing so, they get exposed to some sort of virus due to which they will be quarantined. The summary also says that Rebecca will catch Brian red-handed while he is secretly doing NZT.
The official plot synopsis for "Close Encounters" (via CBS) reads: "Brian and Rebecca are placed under quarantine by the CDC after being exposed to an unknown substance after investigating a citywide blackout. Also, trust issues arise after Rebecca catches Brian using his secret stash of NZT."
