Riverdale star Lili Reinhart had a horrible Thursday. The TV actress woke up to the news of her Twitter account being hacked and a fake nude photo doing the rounds.
Hackers shared a picture claiming it was Reinhart's nude photo after they hacked her social media accounts, including Snapchat and Tumblr. The hackers wanted fans to assume that the fake photo was right out from her iCloud, however, avid followers of the star pointed out that the picture is morphed.
They pointed out that the actress has a mole around her stomach whereas the woman in the "leaked" image doesn't sport one. It was later revealed that the actress' face was morphed into the body of a porn star.
The Blast reported that the image was "an old photo from a pornographic website that dated back to 2012." The publication also said that a series of tweets were also shared from the CW star's account but they were deleted soon after.
Reinhart's sister Tess Reinhart took to Instagram to warn fans about the hacking. "Everyone in my family, including Lili, knows that her accounts are hacked. Thank you for trying to let us know, she's getting the situation handled," she wrote.
It seems like the cyberpunks targeted Reinhart after Cole Sprouse's Twitter account was hacked earlier this week. On Monday (August 13), a tweet from Sprouse' account was shared claiming that the actor was involved in sexual acts while he starred as Cody Martin in several Disney Channel shows.
He wasn't the only target. Hacker went on to share a sexually explicit tweet about his twin brother Dylan Sprouse's rumoured girlfriend Barbara Palvin as well. Soon after, a visibly furious Reinhart took to Twitter to address the situation.
Reinhart stood up for her boyfriend and tweeted, "Cole's Twitter has been hacked BTW. F--k people who do that, seriously."
Two days later, she was hacked and the tweet posting the allegedly Reinhart's nude photo read, "Shouldn't have talked s--t about us, here's to lili fans found this masterpiece in iCloud."
The two actors, who are said to be dating for over a year now, haven't commented on the hackings.
