We have vague memories of the time Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus were an item. Liam was still a new face in Hollywood and best known as Miley's boyfriend (later fiancé ) and Chris Hemsworth aka Thor's younger brother. But now, thanks to "The Hunger Games" franchise, Liam has carved a niche for himself, and we are more invested in his love life than we ever were.
The couple, who were even engaged for a while, officially broke up in 2013, after which Miley went on to become the advocate of shedding clothes and sticking tongues out. She also did monumental work for the transgender and gay communities, besides homeless youth, in the past couple of years, along with making spectacular music.
She also came out as bisexual and dated Victoria's Secret Angel Stella Maxwell in 2015. However, it looks like Miley still has feelings for her former fiancé Liam. The couple reportedly spotted kissing and cuddling at the Falls music festival.
We do need to take stories like these with a pinch of salt, but as it turns out, Miley and her could-have-been sister-in-law Elsa Pataky were also spending some quality time together, proof of which can be seen in this photograph posted on Instagram:
It is understood that the young couple even spent New Year 's Eve together, and may even spend the rest of their lives together. The couple had gotten engaged in 2012 after dating since 2009, and are said to still be desperately in love with each other despite the two-year split.
According to Hollywood Life, Miley is "100% back on board with her relationship" with Liam and is committed enough to tie the knot with him immediately. Considering Liam's 26th birthday is right around the corner (13 January), Miley could even pop the question as a surprise birthday gift.
