It seems South Korean electronics major LG is gearing up to unveil its second generation mid-range handset - Optimus L9 II.
The news came two weeks after the launch of its high-end smartphone 5.2-inch G2.
Technology website, The Unlockr in collaboration with the popular twitter spy, @evleaks has released the purported picture as well as key specification of the upcoming smartphone LG Optimus L9 II.
Going by the looks of the snapshot, LG Optimus L9 II may sport a similar design frame as seen on its predecessor Optimus L9 which was launched in late 2012. It will reportedly sport a 4.7-inch HD 720p resolution display and run on Android v4.1.2 with 1GB RAM and 8GB inbuilt memory.
The phone may pack a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor with Adreno 305 graphics engine powered by a 2150 mAh battery. It will also boast of an 8.0-megapixel main camera featuring illumination sensor on the rear side and a 1.3 megapixel snapper on the front side. The new phone is likely to make its debut by the end this month itself, said the website.
According to recent reports, the South Korean company is also likely to unveil its new-generation tablet device LG G-Pad at the IFA (Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin) 2013 in Germany, next month (September 6-11).
