LG's second generation Optimus L3-2 has set finally set its foot into the burgeoning Indian low-cost smartphone market.
The new Optimus L3-2 smartphone sports a 3.2-inch QVGA display with 320x240 pixel resolution and packs a pretty decent 1GHz processor along with 512MB RAM and 4GB storage capacity with options of expanding up to 32GB.
Optimus L3-2 being a budget smartphone with a sub₹8,000 price tag runs on the latest Android mobile operating system v4.1.2 Jelly Bean, making it one of the very few MNC smartphones in the low-cost smartphone business to challenge Indian manufacturers.
LG had earlier unveiled the second generation Optimus L3-2 along with Optimus L5-2 and L7-2 in February. It remains to be seen when the other two mid-range smartphones will reach Indian stores.
LG Optimus L3-2 is now listed on Indian online shopping portal Flipkart for ₹7,899, but sales are yet to begin.
