LGBT flag marks space Gay-friendly after being sent into stratosphere on a high-altitude balloon
Planting Peace, the American charity that painted a house next to the Westboro Baptist Church in the colours of the LGBT rainbow flag, launched a pride flag attached to a high altitude balloon 21.1 miles into the stratosphere in a video released on Monday, 26 September, declaring space to be “LGBTQ friendlyâ€. Planting Peace reportedly declared Antarctica the first LGBT-friendly continent in March 2016.
