LG Electronics has unveiled its new model 31MU97 for global roll-out starting this week. The LG 31MU97 will feature 4K ability by boasting a resolution of 4,096x2,160 in a 31-inch IPS panel. Targeting the professionals like professional photographers, video editors and graphic artists, the LG 31MU97 is able to provide the sharpest possible images for either work or leisure.
With the monitor's rich and vibrant colours and impressive 10-bit colour, visual art professionals will greatly appreciate the model's high colour accuracy.
The manufacturer has claimed, LG 31MU97's IPS display will support over 99.5% of the Adobe RGB colour space and will also provide several colour options and modes for meeting the demand.
The LG 31MU97 also features Dual Color Space for displaying two different colour modes at once so that users can compare different perspectives of their work simultaneously. Additionally, the Digital Cinema 4K Monitor will come with 'hardware calibration ready' using LG's exclusive True Color Pro software.
The monitor will allow the video professionals to edit 4K contents in the ideal resolution without scaling down the images. Editing footage with full colour expression will also be made possible by the DCI colour standard support which reproduces colour realistically, covering 97% of DCI-P3 color space, the standard for digital cinema projectors and digital camera.
And the LG 31MU97 comes with an ergonomic pivot design that offers maximum convenience for displaying as much of the image on the screen as possible to minimise scrolling and dragging.

The LG 31MU97 will be available, starting this week in markets including the US, the UK, South Korea, Germany and Australia, followed by the Netherlands, Spain, Poland and Japan in November. The company is yet to address on the pricing and availability in India.
