LG finally launched its much-awaited Optimus G Pro phablet in India with a price tag of ₹42,500.
The all new Optimus G Pro phablet, which is considered a strong contender to Samsung Galaxy Note II, sports a 5.5-inch IPS Plus LCD screen with full HD 1920x1080p display resolution (pixel density: 400 pixels per inch) and runs on the Android mobile 4.1.2 Jelly Bean Operating system. It is powered by a 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 series quad-core processor with Adreno 320 graphics engine with 2GB of RAM. The device houses 32GB of internal storage which can be further expanded by up to 64 GB using the microSD card slot.
The smartphone also comes with smart features, similar to those in Galaxy S4, such as Smart Pause video playback, which tracks the user's eye movement to automatically pause and play the video. Other features include dual-recording which allows the user to capture videos using both front and rear cameras simultaneously for a picture-in-picture experience.
The 9.4mm handset comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 2.1-megapixel secondary camera, backed by a 3,140 mAh removable battery.
