The much anticipated LG Optimus G has been spotted online ahead of its official debut in India with a price tag of ₹30,990.
Saholic has listed the smartphone as available for purchase within 5 business days, hinting the official launch of the smartphone in India in the coming days.
The smartphone sports a 4.7-inch True HD IPS Plus display with 1280x768 pixel resolution and backed by 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core processor. It runs on Android Jelly Bean operating system and packs 13MegaPixel rear camera which is capable of recording 1080p HD videos at 30fps along with 1.3MegaPixel front-facing camera.
LG Optimus G smartphone houses a 2GB of RAM and 32GB built in memory. On the connectivity front, the Android smartphone supports GPRS, EDGE, HSPA, WIFI, Bluetooth, NFC, and USB. It has 2100 mAh battery which is claimed to give 15 hours of talk time and 14 days of standby time. Other features of the phone include A-GPS, full HD video playback, QSlide, Qtranslator, Quick Memo, ECO Mode, Path Keypad, Talk Back, Back-up Application, Live Zoom, Document Viewer and Video Editor App.
The phone has made its global debut in the last quarter of 2012. The late entry of the smartphone to the Indian domestic market might impact the handset sales in the country.
Meanwhile, the LG India has sent out invite for an event on February 27, hinting possible launch of LG Optimius G in India. Gizbot reported that "Gizbot also contacted the company's spokesperson and got a clue that Optimus G will be launched in the country next week."
