Consumer electronics major, LG officially launched a new smartphone, X Screen in India on Monday.
LG X Screen was originally unveiled at MWC (Mobile World Congress) 2016, Barcelona way back in February. Now, the device has finally made its debut in the country.
As the name suggests, the USP of LG X Screen is its front-panel. It boasts a dual-display having 4.93-inch HD screen and a dedicated 1.76-inch ticker-display so that users can easily access frequently used apps, answer calls without interrupting the current activity or just play music, check time, date, battery status and other notifications.
Another notable feature of LG X Screen phone is the S0S dialing. With this, anybody, if they anticipate any trouble, can just press the power button five times. Following that, the phone's security feature gets activated to send an alert to select family and friends in the contact list to get immediate assistance.
Other stipulated features include a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor, a 13MP camera on the back, an 8MP snapper, a 2300mAh battery.
LG X Screen price and availability details:
The new LG X Screen is exclusively sold on Snapdeal for Rs. 12,990 from Wednesday onwards. It is said to come in black, pink gold and white colour options.
As a promotional offer, the company is giving Rs. 650 discount for SBI customers, free subscription to Hungama Play, Hungama Play Apps, and special Vodafone 4G data package for a limited period.

Competition:
The new LG X screen will be competing with Moto G4 series, LeEco Le 2, Xiaomi Redmi Note 3, Lenovo Vibe K4 Note, Samsung Galaxy On7 Pro, Galaxy J7 (2016) and Asus Zenfone Max (with Snapdragon 615 CPU), among others.
