South Korean consumer electronics giant LG on Friday expanded its flagship Optimus L smartphone series with the launch of low cost Optimus L4-2 and L4-2 dual.
LG Optimus L4-2 (single SIM variant) and L4-2 dual went on sale in Russia starting 5990 Rubles (roughly around ₹10,600) soon after the launch but the details regarding the availability of the smartphone in other regions, including Indian markets is still under wraps.
Apart from additional SIM slot, Optimus L4-2 dual pack the same specifications of the single SIM variant; it sports 3.8-inch HVGA IPS screen with 480x320p display resolutions and run on Android mobile OS v4.1 Jelly Bean powered by 1GHz single-core processor with 512MB RAM, 4GB internal memory which can be further expanded up to 32GB via micro SD card.
The only difference between the single-SIM Optimus L4-2 and L4-2 dual is that the former has home button with LED notification support whereas the latter has an additional dedicated switch key for swap between the two standby SIMs.
Optimus L4-2 smartphones is the fourth Optimus L series variant from the South Korean company this year. It had unveiled L3-2, L5-2 and L7-2 with varied price margins in February
