South Korean consumer electronics giant LG has launched new AKA-series smartphones.
The new LG AKA series has four colour options in the smartphone variant boasting of digital eye labels symbolising four characteristics moods.
According to CNET, the first model, a yellow phone tentatively named Eggy, has a tendency to fall in love easily; whereas the white-hued phone titled Wooky uses slang like a teenager. Third variant, a blue phone, named Soul loves music and beer; and the fourth device is a pink phone, YoYo. It's the only female-oriented character among the lot and is named for her inclination to consume a lot of hamburgers and Coke, causing her weight to swing a lot. [Check out the video below]
In terms of hardware, the phones come packed with 5.0-inch HD IPS display, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1.5GB RAM, 16GB eMMC inbuilt memory, 8.0-megapixel camera, 2.1-megapixel snapper on the front and a 2,610 mAh battery.
The new LG AKA series smartphone has been priced 500,000 Won (around$456/€365/₹28,050) and is currently set for release in South Korea. However the details regarding global launch are still under wraps.
