South Korean consumer electronics giant LG has launched a new mid-range smartphone, dubbed L65, as part of the company's flagship Series 3 handsets.
The new LG phone sports a 4.3-inch WVGA (800x480p) IPS screen, with pixel density of 217 ppi (pixels per inch) and ships with the latest Android v4.4 KitKat OS out-of-the-box.
Under the hood, it packs 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 series dual-core CPU, 1GB RAM, 4GB inbuilt memory (expandable up to 32GB), 5.0-megapixel main camera, 0.3-megapixel (VGA) snapper on the front and 2100 mAh battery.
Key application softwares include Knock Code (feature will enable the user to switch on the phone by just tapping on the screen, using more than 86,000 combinations), Quick Memo, QSlide, Guest mode, continuous shooting, panorama shooting and more.
LG L65 has been reportedly made available in Russia for 7,490 Rubles (around ₹12,590). As of now, there is no official word on when the company intends to release this mid-range phone in other global markets. But going by the specifications and the price tag, LG is certain to bring the device to price-sensitive markets like India, China and other emerging countries sooner or later.
