LG India Officially Reveals G4 Price; Flagship Smartphone Tipped to Release Next Week

Last week, LG India introduced the G4 pre-order service in India, and the company has also revealed the official price of the flagship smartphone.

According to the company's official page, LG G4 (H818N) Dual SIM costs ₹51,500 and it will be released on 19 June across India.

A few lucky winners among prospective consumers, who pre-book LG G4 before 15 June, stand a chance to receive the marquee phone from LG brand ambassador Amitabh Bachchan himself.

That's not all. Consumers will also get a couple of accessories like a metallic Finnish phone cover and an extra battery with charging cradle worth ₹2,000 and ₹3,500, respectively.

The new LG G4 was originally unveiled last month. It boasts Slim-Arc design language, which runs along its entire body, highlighted by the display with a subtle curvature. The phone will also be made available in handcrafted, genuine full grain leather in six colours.

Besides the leather cover, LG G4's other USP is its feature-rich 16mp camera on the rear-side. It boasts wide F1.8 aperture lens that allows 80 percent more light to reach the sensor. To enhance the photography experience under low condition, the company has incorporated OIS 2.0, which doubles the performance of the improved OIS+ by expanding the range of image stabilisation from one degree to two degrees on the X- and Y-axis and adding a third axis, making LG G4, industry's top-notch camera phone. It also houses 8mp snapper on the front.

Other stipulated features include 5.5-inch QHD screen with Quantum Display technology, Android 5.1 Lollipop OS, Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 series CPU, 3GB RAM, 32GB inbuilt memory (expandable) and a 3000 mAh battery.
