Clearly one of the most-expected flagship smartphones of 2016, LG G6 falls in the same league as that of the next-gen Samsung Galaxy S and the next-gen iPhone editions in terms of pre-launch hype. LG's purported G6 is expected to succeed the current G5, which is also a popular phone.
Now, if the latest reports are anything to go by, then LG loyalists can expect the G6 to be waterproof in addition to being water-resistant. Also, the next-gen G6 by LG is also rumoured to offer the much-expected wireless charging functionality along with introducing a brand-new mobile payments system.
The above new reports also add substance to earlier rumours that hint at a conventional 'flat' design for LG G6 rather than the 'modular concept.' At this juncture, it is worth noting that the modular design concept offered by the current LG G5 has received mixed response from loyalists.
Now, for the LG G6 to be waterproof, the South Korea-based company is said to be considering the incorporation of actual waterproofing adhesives on the outer frame of the G6 thus making it potentially different.
