Back in January, LG launched its flagship smartphone LG G Flex 2 at the CES, 2015 event. And on Wednesday, LG announced the smartphone for Indian market.
Priced at ₹55,000, G Flex 2 inherits the curved display feature of its predecessor G Flex and packs powerful specification along with some meaningful changes.
Boasting a 5.5-inch FHD curved P-OLED display with a resolution of 1,080x1,920 pixels. Running on the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop OS, the LG G Flex 2 packs an Octa Core Snapdragon 810 SoC aptly backed by 2GB worth DDR4 RAM. Though the G Flex 2 is available in both 16GB and 32GB variant, LG launched only the 32GB edition in India.
Powered by a 3,000mAh battery, the LG G Flex 2 boasts much improved self healing back shells than its predecessors. The phone is also touted to self recover from scratches within 10 seconds under normal temperature condition.
On the camera front the LG G Flex 2 features a 13mp rear camera with laser auto focus technology and also features a 2.1mp camera on the front. For selfie enhancements, G Flex 2 supports gesture shot wherein the users can wave their hand to click a snap from a distance of 1.5 metre.
