The curse has finally lifted for Leonardo DiCaprio. After being nominated six times for an Oscar, DiCaprio finally won the Academy Award for Best Actor for his portrayal of Hugh Glass in Alejandro G. Iñárritu's survival drama "The Revenant."
In his acceptance speech, DiCaprio didn't just thank people and all those who always stood by him during his struggles, he also expressed his views and concerns about the one cause to which he is quite dedicated: environmentalism and climate change.
After the results were declared, Twitter was flooded with tweets by other celebrities and fans praising DiCaprio's performance and expressing their happiness on his much-deserved win.
