Lenovo's most awaited super fast smartphone, K900, is said to be making its debut early May.
The Chinese technology major on Tuesday reportedly confirmed that its flagship K900 smartphone will be released initially in China on 6 May and later in other markets.
Lenovo K900 is touted to be the first smartphone to pack Intel's new 2GHz Atom Z2580 Clover Trail+ processor. The company also claimed that the flagship smartphone is the slimmest handset in its class (5-inch plus size smartphones/phablets) and weighs a mere 162 gram, despite featuring a metal-alloy body case.
As of now, there are no reports regarding the launch of K900 in India. But considering the thriving smartphone business in the sub-continent, the Chinese firm is expected to include India in its scheme of plans.
Currently, Xolo, a subsidairy of local smartphone maker Lava is the only company in the Indian market to offer Intel-based smartphones. It had recently launched Xolo X1000 with Intel Atom 2480 processor clocked at 2GHz.
