Lenovo's long-rumoured ZUK Edge was speculated to get unveiled in the first week of December, but never materialized. Now, it is expected to finally break covers later this month. The company CEO via Wiebo released a teaser of the ZUK Edge and confirmed the new phone will be released on December 20 in China.
In the poster (courtesy, Android Pure), we see ZUK Edge's top-edge with speaker in the middle and camera in the right side. And, below we see an edge-to-edge display of the device (on the right side).The teaser also shows phone's interface having apps stacked in 5 x 2 rows with the time details on top – "2016.12.20 14:00" indicating its launch date.
Lenovo ZUK Edge: everything you need to know
As per the information we have gathered so far, Lenovo ZUK edge is expected to sport a 5.5-inch full HD display with 1920x1080p resolution, Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 quad-core processor backed by Adreno 530 graphics engine, 6GB/4GB RAM, Android Nougat OS, 64GB/128GB internal storage, a 13MP primary camera on the back, an 8MP snapper on the front and a 3,000mAh battery.
As seen in the teaser, ZUK Edge's highlight is expected to be its display. Several reports have indicated that it might borrow design elements of rival Xiaomi Mi Mix, but with some minor cosmetic changes.
Word on the street is that ZUK Edge will cost ¥2699 (approx. $389/€369/Rs 26,492).
Since the device is slated to get launched next week, there is a possibility that the company, in a bid to attract attention from fans, might release few more teasers of the device's key features.
