After weeks of teasing, Lenovo-sub brand ZUK has finally announced that the new flagship phone ZUK Edge will be launched later this week.
CEO Chang Chen via social media platform Weibo confirmed that ZUK Edge will be unveiled at 3 pm local time in China on December 7, Playfuldroid reported.
Lenovo ZUK Edge: What we know so far
According to reports, it is expected to feature a 5.5-inch full HD display with 1920x1080p resolution, Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 quad-core processor backed by Adreno 530 graphics engine, 6GB/4GB RAM, Android Nougat OS, 64GB/128GB internal storage, a 13MP primary camera on the back, an 8MP snapper on the front and a 3,000mAh battery.
The main highlight of ZUK Edge is said to be its display. Previously, it was believed to feature curved dual-edge display similar to Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, where the display extends towards the right and left sides of the screen to provide immersive display viewing experience, and also house additional short-cut buttons for most used apps for easy access.
But, recently leaked images say otherwise. Even the company's teaser shows ZUK Edge having flat display. We just need to wait for a few more days to really know what ZUK has in store for fans.
Word on the street is that ZUK Edge will cost ¥2699 (approx. $389/€369/Rs. 26,492).
