Chinese PC maker, Lenovo has launched a feature-rich mid-range smartphone Vibe X in India.
The new Lenovo Vibe X sports a 5.0-inch full HD (1920x1080p) IPS wide-angle (180-degree) viewing display with pixel density of 441 ppi (pixels per inch). It runs on the primary operating system Android v4.2 Jelly Bean with Lenovo's custom UI.
Under-the-hood, it packs a 1.5GHz MediaTek quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB inbuilt memory, 13.0-megapixel main camera, 5.0-megapixel front camera with wide-angle (84-degree) lens and a 2000 mAh Lithium-Polymer battery.
According to reports, Lenovo's new phone is expected to hit stores later this week, but prospective buyers can pre-book the Vibe X at the company official website for ₹25,999. As a promotional offer, Lenovo is giving away free incentives worth ₹6,700. It includes Lenovo's exclusive branded flip-cover (₹1,200) and free five passes (₹5,500) to VH1 Supersonic live music concert which is scheduled in Goa later this month (26-30 December).
Once released, the new Lenovo Vibe X will be competing against its Chinese counterpart Gionee Elife E6, and local players like Micromax Canvas Turbo, Karbonn Titanium X, Intex Aqua i7 and others.
