Spoiled for choice, the Indian consumer has a strange dilemma when it comes to buying the right smartphone. Making the exercise even more difficult is the periodical updation of mid-range smartphones by companies.
So to enable to you to buy the right smartphone, we have put out a comparison between Lenovo Vibe S1, OnePlus X and InFocus M808 available in the mid-range segment.
Display and design
All three phones have distinctive designs that appeal to a different set of audience. The OnePlus X offers an elegant look with shining glass back. InFocus M808 comes in a metal unibody that gives it a premium look and feel. The Lenovo Vibe S1 has a curved glass back that spells grace in every bit. It is entirely shoppers' discretion to see which design appeals them the most.
As for the displays, the Lenovo Vibe S1 has a 5-inch Full HD display, same as the OnePlus X while the InFocus M808 offers a slightly bigger 5.2 inch Full HD screen with 424ppi.
Camera
Given the price range, one can expect a good camera experience. All three handsets offers a 13-megapixel primary camera but different selfie shooters. In the Lenovo Vibe S1, there is a dual camera setup on the front side, comprising of 8MP and 2MP sensors to capture DSLR like images with re-focus tools. The OnePlus X offers an 8MP front snapper while the InFocus M808 has a 5MP front camera with 79-degree wide angle lens.
By looking at the specs on paper, we are guessing the Lenovo Vibe S1 camera to outperform its rivals, especially in the selfie front.
Performance
Lenovo Vibe S1 is powered by a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek MT6752 processor backed by 3GB RAM. OnePlus X uses an outdated yet powerful Snapdragon 801 processor coupled with 3GB RAM, which delivers great performance overall. Finally, the InFocus M808 uses a 64-bit, octa core 1.3 GHz processor backed by 2GB RAM.
In this category, OnePlus X and Lenovo Vibe S1 appear to have a close competition. In our review OnePlus X performance was really applauded and we are yet to review the Lenovo Vibe S1 for a better comparison.

Storage
OnePlus X and InFocus M808 tie on the storage front with 16GB onboard memory and microSD card support up to 128GB. On the other hand, Lenovo Vibe S1 doubles the storage to 32GB built-in and offers microSD card expansion.
Battery
In terms of battery, all three phones offer decent if not great runtime. OnePlus X has the biggest of all, 2,525mAh, followed by Lenovo Vibe S1 with 2,500mAh and finally InFocus M808 with 2,450mAh unit.
Price and availability
This is an important deciding factor for most people, so choose wisely. Lenovo Vibe S1 carries a price tag of Rs. 15,999 and is available exclusively on Amazon India. OnePlus X availability is also exclusive to Amazon India but requires an invite to purchase the Rs. 16,999 handset. As for InFocus M808, the handset costs Rs. 12,999 and available only on Snapdeal.
