Chinese consumer electronics major Lenovo did as promised and launched the new budget smartphone Vibe K5 in India on June 13.
The new Lenovo Vibe K5 is the successor of the company's popular entry-level handset A6000 series. It flaunts a metal frame around the edges and sports a 5.0-inch HD (1280x720p) display.
Lenovo Vibe K5 houses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 415 Octa-core CPU, 2GB RAM, 16GB inbuilt memory with option to expand up to 32GB, 13MP camera at the rear, 5MP snapper at the front, a 2750mAh battery and Dolby Atmos audio system with dual rear-side speakers.
Lenovo Vibe K5 release and price details:
The company (via Twitter) has confirmed that the new Vibe K5 will go on sale for Rs. 6,999 exclusively on Amazon India on June 22. It will be made available in three colour options — gold, grey and silver.
Interested consumers can register for the new Lenovo phone on the e-commerce site (HERE) from today at 1:00 p.m. onwards.
Competition:
Lenovo Vibe K5 will be up against the newly released Asus Zenfone 4.5 Go (2nd gen) and Micromax Canvas Evok, among others.
