Time is finally here for Lenovo to fulfil its promise made last week that its Vibe K5 will be available without any flash sales in India. The ultra-affordable Android smartphone, which costs just Rs. 6,999, is available for purchase without registrations on Amazon India, making it a lot easier for buyers who have been trying to order the device for the past few weeks.
When Lenovo announced the open sale for the Vibe K5 smartphone, it also revealed the sales figures for the handset during the two flash sales held in India. According to the company, more than 100,000 units of the Vibe K5 were sold across the two flash sales, with 48,500 units getting picked up during its last sale. The company has been ramping up the production to meet the demand of consumers in the country.
By opening sales to everyone, Lenovo can better compete with its rivals, which are offering competitive models at affordable prices. There are several options available for consumers in the sub-Rs. 7,000 price range in India, and Vibe K5 is one of the worthiest smartphones. Handsets like Swipe Elite Plus, Coolpad Note 3 Lite, Micromax Canvs Fire 5, Panasonic P75 and Meizu m2 also offer great value for money.
Lenovo Vibe K5's worth can be understood by the specifications it offers. It features a 5-inch HD display with 294ppi, a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front snapper. The budget smartphone is powered by a 1.4GHz Snapdragon 415 octa-core Soc, 2GB RAM and a 2,750mAh battery.
The Vibe K5 runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS and offers 16GB expandable storage along with dual SIM support. Like the earlier Lenovo smartphones, the Vibe K5 boasts Dolby Atmos and has dual SIM slots, among other standard connectivity features. Buyers can choose from gold, grey and silver colours, all of which are available on Amazon.in.
