One of the world's leading PC maker, Lenovo, is reportedly planning to launch the Intel Clover Trail+ based flagship smartphone 'K900' in China in the third week of April.

Lenovo has reportedly said that the K900 smartphone will hit stores in China on 17 April. The smartphone is expected to sell with a price tag of 2,999 Yuan (₹26,200), reported AndroidOS.in.

The Chinese company claimed that soon the smartphone will be released in a few select regional markets shortly after its China release. Hopefully, India might also figure in the list, but as of now there is no official confirmation on this and date of availability.

Lenovo's previous K series smartphone, K860, was released in India in November last year, almost two months after its China debut. But, will Lenovo release K900 in India soon after the launch in China remains to be seen.

K900 sports a 5.5-inch IPS full HD display and runs on Android v4.2 mobile OS Jelly Bean.

Lenovo claimed that the smartphone's most distinguishable feature is its camera functionality. K900 comes packed with a 13.0-megapixel camera with F1.8 focal length lens, making it the first handset in the industry to feature such a wide aperture on its camera for low-light picture shoot.

The Lenovo K900 smartphone was unveiled at the international electronics convention CES (Consumer Electronics Show) 2013, Las Vegas in January this year.
