Chinese consumer electronics giant is reportedly planning to launch a new mid-range K Note series phablet soon.
The Indian arm of Lenovo on Twitter has released a teaser poster showing graphically altered smartphone hurtling towards the Earth like a meteor with a tag – "#KILLERNOTE, A New Age Dawns', hinting that the company is ready to unveil the new phablet soon.
However, we are not sure whether the upcoming phone is the successor K4 Note or a top-end Turbo (or Prime) variant of the K3 Note.
Going by the company's caption – 'Prepare for the dawn of the new #KillerNote' -- we believe Lenovo is more likely to pull wraps off the K4 Note.
Key features of the upcoming device are scarce right now, but if we take a closer look at the phone in the poster, we see there is a presence of metal frame around the edges.
It has now become a fad among smartphone makers to tease a few key features of forthcoming devices before the official unveiling. So, stay tuned for more updates.
In October, Lenovo launched new K3 Note Music edition with Ceramic Vibration Speakers with DIY (Do-It-Yourself) packaging, which can turn any container into a sound amplifier. Rest of the specifications of the device is the same as seen inside the original model.
It features 5.5-inch full HD display, Android Lollipop OS, 64-bit class 1.7GHz MediaTek (MT6752) Octa-core CPU, Mali-T760 MP2 GPU, 16 GB internal storage (expandable up to 32 GB), 2 GB RAM, 13 MP primary camera, 5 MP front snapper and a 3,000 mAh battery.
