Lenovo teaser confirms special Vibe K5 Note variant with higher RAM capacity coming to India

Chinese consumer electronics major Lenovo, which confirmed that the new smartphone, Vibe K5, Note would be launched next month, has released a promotional video revealing key features of the upcoming device exclusive to the Indian market.

In the 34-second teaser clip, Lenovo has confirmed that the new Vibe K5 Note will include 4GB RAM, 100 percent more as compared to the original model, which is already available in China.

When the K5 Note series was unveiled in January, people were baffled about the company's decision to reduce the RAM capacity to 2GB.

Now, it looks like a lesson has been learnt. By incorporating 4GB RAM in the Vibe K5 Note series, the device is poised to give a stiff challenge to its rivals in the highly competitive mid-range category. It will also make Vibe K5 Note a true successor to the K4 Note series, which houses 3GB physical memory.

The rest of the features in the Vibe K5 Note are expected to remain the same, as they are superior to its predecessor. It boasts full metal body having ring-shaped finger-print sensor on the rear below the circular camera module separated by dual-LED flash. It comes with new MediaTek P10 Octa-core CPU, and a bigger 3,500mAh battery. It also features an impressive 8MP camera on the front.

Once launched, Lenovo Vibe K5 Note will be pitted against the popular Xiaomi Redmi Note 3, Moto G4 series and LeEco Le 2, among others.
