Chinese PC maker Lenovo has released the Ideapad A series based tablet in India for ₹8,980.
Lenovo Ideapad A1000 sports a 7.0-inch multi-touch screen with 1024x600p resolution and runs on the Android v4.1.2 Jelly Bean OS with 1GB LP-DDR2 RAM and 4GB internal memory which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.
In terms of CPU power, the mini tablet packs a 1.2GHz dual-core MediaTek turbo processor paired with integrated graphics card powered by 3500 mAh Li-Polymer battery. Camera wise, it houses a 0.3-megapixel VGA camera on the front side.
Taking note of its price and specifications, Lenovo's budget tablet will be pitted against local players Micromax Funbook 3G and Lava E-Tab Connect+ as well as MNC brands Acer Iconia B1-A71, Samsung Galaxy Tab series devices and more.
The new Lenovo Ideapad A1000 tablet is available for purchase at the company's official e-store for ₹8,980.
