Top PC maker, Lenovo on Thursday (06 November) officially launched the new Vibe X2 series flagship smartphone in India.
Lenovo Vibe X2 was originally unveiled in early September this year, during the globally acclaimed IFA (Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin) 2014, Germany. It flaunts a 5.0-inch full HD wide-angle display and runs on the Android 4.4 KitKat OS powered by 2.0GHz MediaTek Tru Octa-core CPU, sumptuous 2GB RAM and 32GB inbuilt memory.
Other stipulated features include a 13.0-megapixel main camera, a 5.0-megapixel camera on the front and it also boasts of gradient three layer design, wherein battery also works as protective layer to the phone. The ultra-thin (5.1mm) X2 Battery does double duty by protecting the phone while also extending its battery life by nearly up to 75 percent, says the company's press note released during the unveiling.

Lenovo Vibe X2 costs just ₹19,999 and will go on sale on Flipkart on 10 November, according to The Indian Express.

With such a competitive sub-₹20,000 price tag, Vibe X2 is certain to give stiff challenge to tier-1 brands like Samsung Galaxy S5, Galaxy Alpha, Nokia Lumia 930, HTC One M8, Sony Xperia Z2 (& Z3), Apple iPhone 6 (4.7-inch model) and its sister company Motorola's Moto X (Gen 2.0).
