Chinese technology major Lenovo has reportedly launched a new budget smartphone, dubbed the Vibe C, in Croatia.
The new Vibe C sports 5.0-inch HD IPS LCD screen and runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS powered by a quad-core process with 1GB RAM, 8GB inbuilt memory and a 2,300mAh battery.
Lenovo's budget device also boasts 5MP camera with LED flash and a 2MP snapper on the front.
Lenovo Vibe C availability and price details:
Lenovo's new Vibe C has been made available on e-commerce site eKupi for 698KN (around $105/€93/Rs. 7,006), GSMArena reported.
Will it come to India?
Lenovo is most likely to launch the new Vibe C in India as it will have more devices to offer consumers in different price segments. The company has numerous models in the Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 20,000 price range, but there is only one new model (Vibe K5 Plus) in the sub-Rs. 10,000 range. Considering the features of Vibe C, it will definitely find buyers in the price-conscious Indian market.
Earlier this month, Lenovo launched feature-rich mid-range ZUK Z1 in India. It runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop-based Cyanogen OS 12.1 and ships with a massive 4,100 mAh battery, which can keep the phone running for close to 38 hours of 4G talktime and up to 526 hours, which is more than 21 days, under standby mode.
