Chinese smartphone maker Lenovo has launched another mid-budget smartphone in India. Named as S60, the latest smartphone has been priced at ₹12,999 to take on Xiaomi's latest "Made for India" smartphone Mi 4i.
The latest S series smartphone boasts a similar 5-inch display like Mi 4i, but lacks in resolution. While Xiaomi Mi 4i flaunts 1080p display, S60 sticks to a 720p display.
Lenovo S60 sports a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 410 msm8916 quad-core processor, backed with 2GB RAM and 8GB internal memory that is expandable up to another 32GB via micro SD card. In comparison, Mi 4i sports a Snapdragon 615 SoC, 2GB RAM, and 16GB onboard memory; but sacrifices the Micro SD card slot.
S60 is powered with a 2150 mAh battery with a claimed talk time of up to 30 hours and standby time of up to 14 days. The phone runs on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system and is upgradable to 5.0 Lollipop.
On the camera front, S60 has an impressive 13MP rear camera and 5MP front camera with wide-angle for the selfie-lovers.
S60 has connectivity options, which include Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0, and it also has Lenovo's P2P sharing app SHAREit. The phone also comes preloaded with Lenovo's super camera software that offers multiple photo filters along with selfie enhancements and gesture controls for taking photographs.
The Lenovo S60 has been made available for ₹12,999 and can be bought on sale via Lenovo's official store thedostore.com, flipkart.com, and amazon.in.
