Chinese consumer electronics major Lenovo officially launched Tuesday, March 15, the mid-range smartphone Vibe K5 Plus in India.
The new Lenovo phone flaunts a premium aluminium cover with Radio Frequency (RF) radiation shield on the back, and sports a 5.0-inch full-HD display with a pixel density of 441 pixels per inch (ppi) on the front.
It boasts Qualcomm's 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 octa-core SoC (System-on-Chip), which is backed by 2GB RAM, 16GB inbuilt storage and a 2,750mAh battery. Other features include a 13MP primary shooter on the back, a 5MP snapper on the front and twin stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos technology.

The new Vibe K5 Plus costs just Rs 8,499. It will be available in three colour options — gold, grey and silver — exclusively on Flipkart via open sale from March 23, 12 p.m. onwards.
Competition:
Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus will be up against the popular LeEco Le 1s, Xiaomi Redmi Note 3, Redmi 2 Prime, InFocus Bingo 50, Coolpad Note 3, Motorola Moto G (3rd Gen), and its own sibling Lenovo K4 Note, among others.
