Lenovo Launches A526 Smartphone in India; Price, Availability Details

Renowned PC maker Lenovo's latest Android smartphone offering A526 has reached the Indian shores with a price tag of ₹9,499.

The handset A526 will be available in the country from 5 April (Saturday) through the company's official website and the other brick and mortar stores. Featuring 4.5-inch display with a (FWVGA) 480x854 pixel resolution, Lenovo's new smartphone runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system out-of-the-box and is powered by 1.3 GHz MT6582M quad-core processor, coupled with 1GB of RAM. The device packs 4 GB internal storage, which is further expandable by upto 32GB with microSD card and comes with a range of Lenovo Doit apps like Shareit.

Lenovo A526 smartphone packs 5-megapixel rear snapper and 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. The connectivity features of the handset include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro-USB, AGPS and 3G and the device comes loaded with Li-Po 2000 mAh battery. The smartphone will come in Blue colour variant in India.

Earlier in February, Lenovo launched its Vibe Z smartphone in India. It sports a 5.5-inch full HD (1920x1080p) IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 ,comes  with Android v4.3 Jelly Bean and is  powered by 2.2GHz Snapdragon 800 series CPU, Adreno 330 graphics card, 2GB RAM and 16GB inbuilt memory. The other notable features of the Lenovo phablet are its 13.0-megapixel main camera which boasts Sony IMX135 image sensor and 5.0-megapixel-fixed focus camera.
