Last week, Lenovo confirmed that it would launch the new smartphone dubbed as the K6 Power in India on November 29.
Lenovo's K6 Power was originally unveiled at IFA (Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin) 2016 in August along with a generic K6 and a phablet K6 Note. For now, the company plans to release just the battery-centric model on December 6 exclusively on Flipkart and the other two models later.
The K6 Power's specification is already in the public domain, but its price is yet to be announced. Going by the device's specifications, it is expected to cost under Rs.10,000. Anything north of that price-range, Lenovo will have tough time convincing buyers, as rivals -- Xiaomi Redmi 3S series, Samsung J2 (2016), LeEco Le 1S, Moto E3 Power among others -- offer similar features for the same price.
Lenovo K6 Power sports a 5-inch full HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa-core CPU, a 13MP primary cameras with LED flash, an 8MP front snappers and 4G LTE support, fingerprint sensor, 2GB/3GB RAM and 16GB/32GB storage.

The company has made arrangements to broadcast the entire Lenovo K6 Power launch live on the company's official YouTube channel. Those Interested can catch the live action on any of their devices — smartphones (Android and iPhones) and PCs. The event will kick off at 3:00 pm.
