Lenovo confirmed last week the launch of its new smartphone, the K6 Power, in India on November 29. It will replace the popular K5 Note series.
Like its predecessor, Lenovo K6 Power comes with feature-rich hardware and is expected to be priced aggressively to compete with popular brands, such as Xiaomi Redmi Note 3, LeEco Le 2 and Moto G4 series.
To provide a better perspective on the Lenovo K6 Power, we have listed the top five features that make the new device an attractive buy.
Massive battery:
As the name suggests, Lenovo K6 Power's highlight is its battery life. It comes packed with a high capacity 4,000mAh battery, which is likely to keep the phone running for a whole day under heavy usage, including internet surfing, binge viewing YouTube videos and messaging. If the device is used moderately, it can easily last for two days. And under standby mode, it can last up to 13 days (around 649 hours), Lenovo claims.

Display and build quality:
Lenovo K6 Power boasts a metal-based frame around the edge and a metal cover at the back. It provides a premium feel, and also acts as sturdy structure to the phone to withstand accidental fall. It comes in dark grey, silver and gold colour options.
As far as the display is concerned, Lenovo K6 Power will provide sharper and clearer viewing experience, as it comes with a compact 5.0-inch screen with full HD (1920x1080p) resolution. The smaller stature of the device also makes one hand-usage easier.
Camera:
Lenovo K6 Power houses a feature-rich 13MP primary camera with LED flash, PDAF (Phase Detection Auto Focus) and full HD video recording ability.
On the front, it features an 8MP snapper with wide-angle lens to take fine quality group selfies.
Security:
Another key aspect of Lenovo K6 Power is its security feature. It is said to boast superfast fingerprint sensor with low false rejection rate. It has been placed on the back, just below the camera module for easy access.
4G-LTE with VoLTE:
Lenovo's new K6 Power comes with the 4G-LTE network support to offer high speed internet with 150 mbps download and 50 mbps upload capability.
It also boasts VoLTE (Voice-over-LTE), thus guaranteeing HD quality voice call facility. This also means Lenovo K6 Power owners will be able to subscribe to Reliance Jio's free welcome offer.
Lenovo K6 Power will be made available exclusively on Flipkart.
