Lenovo successfully launched its latest premium budget smartphone, K5 Note, in India on Monday at an attractive price starting at just Rs. 11,999.
Ever since Lenovo K4 Note ruled the premium budget segment, several companies launched upgraded devices such as Xiaomi Redmi Note 3, LeEco Le 2, Huawei Honor 5C and Oppo A37 to attract a wider audience. While the K4 Note's popularity started to fade, Lenovo returned stronger than before and launched the K5 Note.
Lenovo launched two versions of the K5 Note, one with 3GB RAM and the other with 4GB. The entry-level variant competes against all the popular smartphones in the similar price range. The 4GB model is priced at Rs. 13,499 and targets performance-driven users. In terms of specifications, Lenovo K5 Note is a pretty fair deal. It boasts a 5.5-inch Full HD display with scratch resistant glass, 13MP primary camera, an 8MP front snapper and a metal unibody. It is powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6755 processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage with microSD card support and a 3,500mAh battery. The handset runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow and has fingerprint scanner, dual SIM support, 4G LTE along with VoLTE support.
