K3 Note, the highest sold budget smartphone for Lenovo in India has set another sales record in its few months of appearance. The Chinese Smartphone maker revealed that it has sold over 5,00,000 units of K3 Note smartphone in just two months. Available for Rs 9,999, the K3 Note was unveiled through flash sales via Flipkart. But lately, they have announced to make it available without any pre-registration.
Lenovo K3 Note has a 5.5-inch IPS display with a resolution count of 1080x1920 pixels at 401 PPI pixel density count. Powered by a 1.7GHz True octa-core MediaTek MT6752 SoC backed with 2GB RAM, it has 16GB storage expandable up to 32GB. Running on Android 5.0 Lollipop overlaid with homemade Vibe UI interface, K3 Note comes with Dolby Atmos feature for enhanced sound output.
K3 Note packs a 13MP rear camera sensor with AutoFocus and dula LED flash. On the front it features a 5MP snapper for clicking selfie images and making video calls. The device also packs a 3,000 mAh Li-ion battery.
For its price the biggest competitor of Lenovo K3 Note are Meizu M2 Note, YU Yureka Plus and Xiaomi Mi 4i to some extent.
In our review of K3 Note, we found the device to be a decent all-round performer with decent battery life. Lenovo has rolled out a total of five devices under Rs 10,000- Lenovo K3 Note, Lenovo A7000, Lenovo A6000, Lenovo A6000 Plus and Lenovo A5000. All the devices are scattered across price point hence creates appeal to consumers with different budget.
Lenovo K3 Note and Lenovo A7000 both runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box, while the A6000 and A6000 Plus received the Android 5.0.2 Lollipop update recently.
