It was yet another day for Lenovo's successful flash sale. This time, the Chinese tech-giant had the widely advertised #killernote, the K3 Note, up for sale via Flipkart. As expected, the handset went from available to "out-of-stock" in just a few seconds.
In a post shared on Facebook via Lenovo's official account, the company said 47,440 units of K3 Note were sold in just 5.2 seconds. This adds another star to Lenovo's rising popularity in the budget-smartphone category.
Lenovo K3 Note's first flash sale on Flipkart commenced at 3pm on Wednesday and had received nearly half a million registrations. Such high demand for the ₹9,999-worth smartphone is easy to understand, given the impressive spec-sheet.
We had lined up a few important tips and tricks on how to successfully add K3 Note to the cart despite the rush and seemed to have worked well. We were able to order the handset in the initial seconds before it ran out of stock.
Due to the excessive demand for the K3 Note handset, Lenovo shortened the check-out window from four to just one hour. Those who failed to complete the order by 4pm lost the device from their cart.
If you were able to order K3 Note successfully, you will get your shipment in the next few days. However, if you are among the majority who failed to get their orders placed in time, it is not the end of world.
With the successful completion of the first flash sale, Lenovo will conduct the next sale for its worthy handset at 3pm, next Wednesday, 15 July. The registration window for the next sale will open at 6pm on 8 July until 14 July midnight.
