The world's second largest PC maker Lenovo launched the latest 7.0-inch tablet A2107 from its flagship IdeaTab series portfolio in India.

The 'IdeaTab A2107' tablet PC is now available in most of the major-cities across India at a premium price of Rs. 13,495 (excluding taxes).

Lenovo claims that their IdeaTab A2107 is an affordable pocket-size tablet PC, it fits comfortably in users' hands for e-book reading and also makes up as a good entertainment system with HD video with 720p playback and stereo speakers for listening to music.

Lenovo's 7-inch tablet comes with internal roll cage to protect tablet against accidental drops; the tablet sports a bright 350 nits HD display for easy viewing in the sunlight.

IdeaTab A2107 comes packed with loads of apps such as Skype, AccuWeather, Papaya Mobile, Shazam and also comes with security software Norton Mobile Security.

Lenovo's 7-inch tablet is competitively priced considering the device's specifications.

However, the Indian tablet market is congested with more than 135 companies, including the big MNCs to emerging Indian companies, offering tablets with similar specs at much cheaper prices.

the Indian tablet market is currently led by Samsung and it is followed by India-based companies Micromax and DataWind placed at second and third, respectively.

Besides the tablet's price and specification, the company can also place their bets on their 'Lenovo' brand to attract more Indian consumers.

Brand 'Lenovo' has grown exponentially in the global tablet PC market ever since it began its business in 1984 and it continues to grow. Lenovo currently holds the second largest share in the global PC market.
