Consumer electronics major Lenovo has launched a new smartphone dubbed as A7000 Plus in Philippines.

As the name suggests, the new Lenovo A7000 Plus is an advanced version of the popular budget phablet Lenovo A7000, which was launched earlier this year. The key improvements include 5.5-inch full HD display, 16GB internal storage, 13MP primary camera and a bigger 3000mAh battery.

Its predecessor comes with 5.5-inch HD (1280x720p), 8GB storage, 8MP camera and 2900mAh battery. Other stipulated features like RAM (2GB) and front camera (5MP) remain same.

But the interesting thing to note is that A7000 Plus is identical to Lenovo's recently launched K3 Note specifications in all aspects. [Check out the spec-sheet below]

Lenovo A7000 Plus Price and availability:

As per the reports, the new Lenovo A7000 Plus will be initially made available in Philippines for PHP7999 (around $171/€150/Rs 11,350).

Local e-commerce site Lazada has confirmed that the Lenovo A7000 Plus sale will go live on 15 September at 12 noon [HERE].

Will Lenovo A7000 Plus Hit Stores in India?

We highly doubt that Lenovo would launch A7000 Plus in India anytime soon because the company is already selling K3 Note with the same features. It has received an overwhelming response in India. As per the latest reports, more than 5 lakh Lenovo K3 Notes have been sold on Flipkart in just two months.

So we believe that Lenovo will probably put the A7000 Plus launch on back burner to avoid the phone from cannibalising the K3 Note sales in India.
