Budget smartphones are an "in thing" in emerging markets like China and India. Helped by its low price, Xiaomi Redmi 1s had a good run in India last year, selling thousands of units. Now, other devices like Lenovo A6000 and Micromax YU Yureka have joined the race and they will give Xiaomi products a run for its money.
Both Lenovo A6000 and Micromax YU Yureka have shown signs of making good business with the initial flash sales getting great response. Thousands of units were sold in a few seconds, but it has opened up possibilities of prospective buyers facing dilemma on which device to buy.

Lenovo A6000: 20,000 units of Lenovo A6000 were sold in just three seconds in its first flash sale on Flipkart and more handsets are in line for grabs in the coming days. Conclusion: It is not very fair to dub one device as superior over another if price difference is huge. It is obvious that Micromax YU Yureka has better specifications over Lenovo A6000 as it is costlier by ₹2000. Yureka has more powerful processor, internal memory, RAM and better camera among others. However, Lenovo A6000 has better score in screen resolution with 294 ppi pixel density compared to Yureka's 267 ppi pixel density. In nutshell, both the smartphones are worth their money.
