Chinese tech giant Lenovo's latest 4G LTE smartphone A6000 is selling like hot cake in India with its second flash sale on Flipkart turning out to be a success, selling 20,000 units in just three seconds.
Lenovo thanked the public on its twitter page for the phenomenal response and said that its next flash sale will be on 11 February. Registration for next Wednesday's sale has been opened.
The Lenovo A6000 was announced at the Consumer Electronics Show 2015 (CES 2015) before opening up for registration on 16 January. Its first flash sale on 28 February saw 10,000 units being sold in just two seconds.
The Chinese tech giant seems to be impressed with flash sale business strategy, as it has once again started registration for next week's sale.
Interestingly, it has started #IWantLenovoA6000 contest on Twitter, inviting the public to tweet why they want the device and get the chance to grab it next week. The lucky winners get priority passes for booking Lenovo A6000. In fact, #IWantLenovoA6000 is topping the trend on Twitter India at the time of filing this story.
The Lenovo A6000 is a mid-range smartphone and is expected to give Xiaomi Redmi 1s a run for its money. It sports a 5-inch IPS capacitive touchscreen with 720 x 1280 pixels (294 ppi pixel density), powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chipset, and run on Android 4.4.4 KitKat.
The device comes packed with 8 GB internal memory, 1 GB RAM and microSD up to 32 GB, Li-Po 2300 mAh battery, and houses an 8MP main camera and 2MP front snapper. It is priced at ₹6,999.
