Chinese smartphone maker Lenovo completed its Wednesday (18 March) flash sale on Flipkart.
According to Lenovo, the company has sold a record number of 1,80,000 units after the completion of the latest round of flash sale on Wednesday.
Lenovo conducted its first flash sale in India through Flipkart on 28 January, selling 10,000 units of A6000 smartphones in seconds. The second round saw 20,000 units sold out in just 3 seconds.
In In its third flash sale on 11 February, Lenovo sold 30,000 units. In the fourth round on 19 February, the company sold 20,000 units.
The entry level 4G smartphone A6000 has garnered great sales figure for Lenovo.
Meanwhile, Xiaomi has also launched its budget 4G smartphone Redmi 2 in India. The device will be up for sale soon, through the same e-commerce retailer, Flipkart.
Unveiled at CES, the Lenovo A6000 sports a 5-inch HD display with 720x1280 pixels resolution, and is powered by a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 410 SoC with 1GB RAM and 8GB worth ROM. The phone also features 8MP rear camera, 2MP front camera, Dolby Plus technology with twin speaker and a 2300 mAh battery to provide a day long battery life.
Available for Rs. 6,999 the A6000 runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS wrapped under Lenovo's Vibe UI.
