Flipkart is holding an open sale for the successful Lenovo A6000 smartphone in the country, allowing users to shop for the device without the rush of flash sales. There will be no registrations and hurry to book the device in a matter of seconds, giving Lenovo a wide window for selling its device to hundreds of potential customers for the first time since its launch in late-January. Due to the open sale, Lenovo will skip its traditional flash Wednesday sale next week.
Those who are longing for Lenovo A6000 will have a greater chance of booking the device during a three-day open sale on Flipkart. The sale will begin on Monday, 23 March, and run through Wednesday, 25 March, as a part of Flipkart's Big App Shopping Days promotion.
Lenovo confirmed to us recently that it has sold 1,80,000 units so far. The three-day open sale will clearly bump the number, but it remains to be seen if the Chinese phone maker will manage to fulfill the demand of the customers.
Lenovo has managed to strike a remarkable demand for its A6000 smartphone in India by offering powerful specs in an affordable package. The handset strongly competes against rivals like Moto E second generation, Micromax Canvas Fire 4 and Redmi 2. The Lenovo A6000 is stacked among the cheapest budget 4G phones available in the market. It offers a 5.0-inch 720p HD display and runs on a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 410 SoC. There's 1GB RAM and 8GB onboard storage along with a 2,300mAh battery.
On the camera side, there's an 8mp rear shooter and 2mp front snapper. Lenovo personalises the A6000 with its Vibe UI based on Android 4.4 KitKat and offers dual SIM support.
Lenovo A6000 will be available for ₹6,999 via Flipkart without registrations on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
